“Renewed & Restored.”

The Happiest Day Of My Life! My True Companion and I FINALLY at the HARVEST eating of the Sweet Fruit God produced in us!
Well, it was a glorious day and by that I mean GLORIOUS! God was MOST DEFINITELY the Guest of HONOR & was glorified!!
For 22 years I have prayed, complained to God, waited and begged God for changes, and almost given up on my marriage – But 3 weeks ago on November 5th, 2016 my husband and I renewed our wedding vows in front of our children, grand-children, family and closest friends. What a HARVEST! What a CELEBRATION!
The biggest thing for me going through those 22 years was this: NOT DOING IT ALONE. I did not keep the hurts to myself. I was honest and open to my closest circle of influences and mentors. Always seeking God’s answers and not the world’s,
It has been such an amazing experience watching God at work especially those 6-8 weeks before the wedding. He renewed and He restored our love for each other! I never thought that could be a reality. Watching all our guests be happy for us and actually know that God did it was the best gift ever!
We have given others hope that ALL THINGS TRULY ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD. I have changed. My husband has changed. My kids got to witness a miracle and now they know that they better fight for their marriages. That it won’t be easy. Love will grow its fruit in the proper season.
I see it like this: Good soil is needed in order to produce good sweet fruit in its right season, so fertilize your soil often! Also… fertilizer (stuff, manure, problems, circumstances, triggers, etc. ) is good for your soil (heart, life, growth, maturity). In its due season (in God’s perfect timing) it will produce delicious good sweet fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control). Don’t hate the manure – just spread it and utilize it to grow and be fruitful.
BE BLESSED & UNTIL NEXT TIME…
